About Me

J.T. Wood is currently a New York City resident actor and singer, originally from Indianapolis, Indiana. J.T. started theater at a young age in a production of "The Music Man". From there, J.T. grew up on old movie musical classics such as "The Wizard of Oz", "Singin' in the Rain", and "White Christmas". J.T has felt the urge to "make em' laugh" ever since hearing that song and has been proudly quoting those movies ever since.

His favorite credits include "Rent" (Collins), "Is He Dead" (Jean-Francois Millet/Widow Tillou), and "Brighton Beach Memoirs" (Eugene Morris Jerome) . His favorite musical is "Into the Woods" and he is really hip to any Sondheim musical. J.T. is also a senior at Otterbein University and a very proud member of the Class of 2018. Currently, he is on internship in New York City with the Binder Casting Agency.

One of J.T.'s Favorite Quotes: " 'You have plenty of courage, I am sure,"  answered Oz. "All you need is confidence in yourself."                                   (-L. Frank Baum, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz)
